20 yrs exxonmobil baytown. I’m an e/I though operators keep me employed fixing all the crap they break.

HAHA! If it don't work right but still works, it don't get fixed. So it gets broke so Y'all can fix it right!
Coming from an operator of 46 years in Freeport. Be retiring in 96 days!

NRG energy did have openings for auxiliary operators at the plant I work south of Houston. Basically get hired as aux operator then I think you start a 3 year operator apprenticeship. Decent place to work , I’m 13 years in

Pipeline Controller for EquiStar Pipeline (Lyondell Basell). Only been here for 2 years but been in operations for 12 years. Came from Shell Deer Park. I see a lot of guys on here work at plants I send/receive Propylene and Ethylene. I wonder if I ever talked to any of y’all.
