Bad timing for a sonic boom

A couple of years ago, there was some practice dog fighting going on. One of the jets threw off their flares right over our cabin. You talk about cool!! But we have never heard a Sonic Boom.

Have tried a soaking of detangler spray? thinking it might help the burrs slide out.

Probably just hearing them kick on the after burners. Sonic boom over US ground is illegal.

I will swear the fighter jets in Wichita Falls had one of our stands pinged as a bombing target for 4-5 years that sat up on a hill. The Waggoner has miles of open country with no towers and few power lines. Those jets would come flying in at about 100-200 feet off the deck and buzz right over the blind then turn and then bank hard back to where they came from. It would shake everything! That blind finally blew over and they stop buzzing our area.

Take a 1200# animal with the brain the size of a walnut, and implant an unreasonable desire to hurt you. If they weren't so darn good at packing out elk, I'd have no use for them at all!!!!!

Horses are actually very smart, we have had horses and I have been around multiple over the years. I am definitely not a horse person at all. I can tell you they are the smartest animal I have ever dealt with by far. We had one who was a prankster, used to get my regularly, he obviously thought it was funny, every time he got me or someone else. You had to keep a close eye on that horse.
