Saw a big 10pt pushing a doe hard today while I was at work. They weee both panting and he wouldn’t give her and breathing room.

If I weren’t at work Inwould be in the stand right now.

According to all my cameras today has been the most eventful day of the season. I honestly have new and old bucks on every camera all day long. Started about 9:30 last night. The buck parade started. Never know what will show up

For the last week we have been waking up in our tents in Colorado with temps at about 5 - 15.

Rain means a washed out blood trail. I'll always pass on deer hunting in the rain.

Those are perfect duck hunting conditions though.

Often hear this and to a degree isn’t true. A flood =bad. But light rain turns a drop into a puddle. Easy tracking. And if you can shoot, they don’t go 100 anyway

I'd put some chili on the stove and head out and hunt! Come home, take pictures of monster buck, go inside and eat chili and drink whisky.
