Digging the signal for updates. Y'all smash a couple today while I sit at work!

Kade just had a heavy horned 10 point come across the corn field. Truck driving down the county road ran him towards Kade & in to the timber 175- 200 yards from his stand.
He hit the horns and rattled him to 30 yards.
Gave him a pass. Said buck had short tines.

He just had a spike cruise thru too.

Good hunt, so far today.

Left at 11:30 to hang a few more sets on other properties. Had a small 8 run a doe 5 yards from us while hanging a stand.
We are back in same sets as this morning.

42 degrees with a straight South Wind until 6:00.

Hopefully a shooter will show up.
We haven't laid eyes on a ton of deer today but we both had bucks in bow range. Just not the ones we are looking for.

Kade was covered up in deer 30 min before dark.
He passed on a decent 8. Had a spike and 8 does in the corn field.

I didn’t see anything else after the 8 point came thru.

We’ll be back at it In The morning.

Settled in.
Today we are hunting separate properties. I dropped Kade off this morning at the set we hung yesterday where the buck run the doe right on top of us.
I grabbed my climber and hit a different property that we haven't been on yet. Slipped in before daylight and found a tree.

Kade has already had 2 does come down the edge of the bean field he is hunting on.

No deer for me yet, but I did bump one while walking in earlier.

35 degrees right now. Supposed to warm up to 62. Got another front coming in Tomorrow night.

I'm sitting on a big draw that falls off the edge of a bean field to a big pond. Very similar to my set I hunted yesterday, just a little more open timber.
