Well I made it thru airport security without any kind of cavity search, so we are off to a good start this morning. Flight boards in 10 minutes.

Kade is north bound with the hammer down. If all goes well I’ll be climbing in the truck about 12:15 and In a tree about 2:30-3:00.

Weather shows a SE, E & NE wind from 2:00-6:00 with chances of rain. We’ll see how it goes.

Good luck! I'm also in Kansas (Unit 14) this week and will be here through Saturday with the long drive back home on Sunday.

First sit this morning and didn't see a deer, but it was a bit warm (mid-high 40s, and 67 right now). Been hunting this place off and on since 2006 and I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've been skunked. E and SE winds haven't been ideal for my best set-ups, but that should change overnight with the cold front moving through. Wind is gonna blow, but I killed a great morning buck in similar conditions back in 2014. Be safe!

Kade is running a little late due to traffic so I Uber’d to the nearest heart-attack shack to grab a bite to eat and wait on Kade.
