I just checked on Google Earth and the closest point in Myers to the closest point in BM is 2.3 miles as a crow flies.
It wasn’t the same deer. Entrances were on opposite sides.

Where are those guys at? I heard them in Seg A, sure sounded like it was on the refuge.

My arrow had nothing but fat and white hair so I was hoping that I missed the guts! I’m glad I at least get the assist.

        Congrats!

Even if it’s not your deer that is a class response right there.

Just had a spike walk by. Maybe they're about to start moving

Ok one of you old timers give me the H “it can all change in ten seconds” speech. I’m feeling pretty frustrated. If one more young buck walks under me, I may jump off on his back!!

I was telling someone earlier these young bucks are walking around with the same look on their face as me. The party is almost over and they weren’t allowed to play

I have a simple philosophy when I hunt out there. As long as I’m seeing deer somewhat consistently the odds are in my favor a shooter will show up. Now when it’s dead and no movement I change my hand plan and go find them.

Looks like a timber rattler. Am I correct?
