Didn’t see a deer all day. Cold front blew in this evening and wind was howling. Will be doing an all day sit at the same stand tomorrow. Rut activity has been mainly at night. Hopefully cold front gets it popped off tomorrow.

Ok guys sorry for the lack of updates honestly the movement has sucked... until this morning. Right at day light I seen a doe hundred yards to my left and I started hearing grunts. Behind her was a tall heavy narrow 9 that is a shooter. We start calling back in forth to each other but then they moved on or so I thought!!!

I keep looking for them to pop out in the crp behind me and I can’t movement 20 yards behind me. It’s the doe and he’s right behind her. Only problem is I have no shot behind to the little creek they were in. Thinking the doe is gonna pop out on my side of the creek and bring him by at 15 yards would have been the perfect script to follow. But however she had a different idea.

She decided to pop out on the other side of creek and starts to walk off into the crp with him behind her. So now I’m getting more aggressive with the grunts and snort wheezes. He turns and this is when it all starts.
