What in the world is up with Amazon?

I buy a gallon of paint. Here how it was shipped to me...No packing bubbles or anything. Just 1 gallon of paint in a box LOL




So it was all banged up. I knew if I opened it I would not be able to close the paint can again. So I ask for a replacement and ship this one back.

So of course they ship another one in a box 3 times as freaking big...with zero packing paper, bubble wrap or anything. I can only imagine all the people that tried to handle this package LOL



This one is not damaged somehow... I'm trying to figure out what in the world the guy boxing the paint was thinking. Never had issue with Amazon before this. But this is one of those Wow! moments that makes my brain hurt.

I read they box items not based on the size of the item but packing the trucks like a game of tetris.
