I think I’m gonna order one of these for times like now when I’m not blue to use my big tripod. Used to have one for the video ca and used the crap out of it until it broke but I would like one for my phone.

Amazing how handy they are. I use them turkey and dove hunting for pics as well

If you are asking about my avatar pic, it's a root system we set our deer on so we can kneel behind them. Most kids and adults can place it up there..

Mostly for night pic because we have a huge flood light there to take good pics...

Don't be a drama queen...I was just repeating a helpful tip a lot of folks don't take it into consideration. You see it all the time. "Man I wish I would have got a better pic."

I've run into a bunch of folks who didn't know to do it and have thanked me in the past. Over the last week I have seen a few dark pics and I figured I'd post it again..

Not policing. Lots of folk on here appreciate the advice. It's possible to learn something new every day and not be such a buzzkill. I've lost count of all the little things I've learned on TBH over the years, from small details that make a huge difference to big details that I can't believe I didn't think of on my own.

I regret the times I didn't take the time and effort to get a good field LDP. I make it a priority to do so these days so I have a good documentation of a special moment that I can look back on or share for years. What's wrong with that?

Not policing really. Some just prefer good photography over bad photography whether it’s an LDP, pics of kids or a spectacular sunrise. It is not important to others and that’s fine too.

This is an area I fail at. I rarely take pics of animals I kill. I most definetly gonna keep my mug out of them.

Found this thread to be very helpful. I’m clueless as far as taking LPDs and plan to use some of the advice given.
