Having trouble uploading Photos

My wife & I had a great bucket list hunt, Had a great story all typed and the dang pictures will not upload. Says they are to large. So I resized to the smallest version and it will still not upload them. Any suggestions???

Mine always said the same thing. Then I finally downloaded Tapatalk & haven’t had any issues since.
