Back at it in a spot that hasn’t been hunted all week at the Eagle Corner. Sits on the edge of the bean field and overlooks a huge bluff so I can scout from afar to pattern the deer a bit more for next year’s hunt.

My plan was to hunt Cutter because this wind was the best we’ve had all week to hunt that spot and the scrape we were monitoring showed the big 8 and big 10 there the last 2 mornings. Plans got changed when we pulled up to the road and saw the neighbor was back in there with his chainsaw clearing trees again all day. Oh well, hopefully a doe or two might come cruising by this spot because we have seen a ton of them filing out into the bean field every afternoon we’ve hunted along this edge. It’s a great looking spot!

Nice sized fresh scrape right here close to the stand

And a cedar tree that’s shredded on the other side of the stand
