Not quite. Romo was never the best at his position. For a time, Watt was the best defensive player in the league. Injuries have taken their toll on him. Sucks for him.

A white-hot fire just can't burn as long. He was the best, but what it takes to get there and what it takes to stay there can certainly wear the human body down. I know this, when he decides to retire, nobody will be able to say he didn't give it everything he had, every snap. I appreciate watching him play.

Relax, it was an analogy regarding their propensity for injury.

That being said, I'll take a healthy Romo over any other QB. He is the most entertaining QB I've ever watched.

I'm guessing we watched his last game today. 3rd season he's been injured and unable to finish. He's said in the past when he can't give it 100% each time he's done.

I thought he just had a couple good seasons but just saw he was averaging almost 18 sacks a year from 2012-2015. Didn’t realize he had 16 last year either and thought it was in the 10-12 range

Hopefully he recovers and gets a full season in before he hangs it up. Gives his fiancé less time to creep over his shoulder to look at his phone....
