I like dons in Scott,la. And if you like bread pudding run in to fezzo’s right there for some amazing dessert.

At the Scott/Cankton exit, you can get it at Don's right there on the East bound feeder, or for better boudin and craklins, go about a mile north on that road to Best Stop... That's the best boudin and cracklin's in Louisiana in my book...
Don's will package it better for you if you want to bring a bunch home for the freezer. I'll sometimes get Don's to vacuum seal 2 links in a pack and buy a 10 or 15 pound box. Bring it home and freeze it. When ready to eat, just take out of the freezer and drop in a pot of boiling water... When it's good n hot, cut the bag and it's just like fresh boudin out the pot at Don's... Best stop will just throw 10 or 15 pounds in a big plastic bag and that's it... pain to handle when you get home with it...

I prefer Best Stop ( north of I-10) as their smoked boudin is amazing

Many love Billy’s however you will spend 30-45 minutes in line if its packed

Exit 97 Scott, LA is the boudin exit

All good recommendations, but Rabideaux’s Sausage Kitchen in Iowa, La is also good. It’s about 1/2 mile south of the interstate.
