My biggest buck to date 176 5/8”

    I forgot to post this update:

    A few months back, both sides to the original buck I was after from the OP were found. I got to lay my hands on them. Putting a tape on them, the buck would have been in the low 180’s. You can see where he broke the split on his left g2. Bases were 5” and right g2 was over 12”.

          Reading that write up again brings back good memories. I can’t wait to see the original buck this year once he grows out. I hope he looks even better this year, since I have a new customer who is interested in shooting a really pretty deer. You didn’t call “dibs” on that deer, right????? ;-)

                      From that bottom picture, looks like somebody is getting replaced. Great looking buck

                      They called me last week, I need to take them my two racks from last year and pickup a badger

                          Yes, that's my favorite deer I have killed of all time on the floor (East Texas 8 in my Avatar). Very tough decision as he has been culled off the fireplace
