What if neighbor next door wants to celebrate life with an air horn? Don't you respect their rights? Kind of a bunch of hypocrites posting that have no respect for others. Just because you dont bow hunt doesnt mean others dont. Likewise perhaps your neighbor doesnt hunt but likes blowing an airhorn every morning, but if it happens to you, youd be the first to rant.

My guess is most of you wouldnt mow your yards at 2am while your neighbors are sleeping. Maybe I could be wrong and you just dont respect anyone but yourselves.

I have killed a deer while cutting firewood with a chainsaw

My neighbors shoot during deer season nearly every year. They live in the metromess and about the only time I hear them is a couple times during deer season

I COULD CARE LESS WHAT THEY DO
      THEY OWN THEIR LAND

And I will mow my yard whenever I get ready

Of course I live in the country and my nearest neighbors are far enough away they would never hear

Curious how big your lease is?
How close do you hunt to the boundary?

Point being would it be possible for you to move your setup ( after season of course since you have that rule) to a spot that where the neighbor activity does not bother you as much?

I think it’s general etiquette, I have heard of multiple stories of deer getting spooked due to noise from adjacent property. They have the right to, but it’s common curiosity imo

I aim to cut a load of firewood here in a couple if weeks. Doesn’t make me a bad person, and doesn’t make me spiteful. Just another seasonal chore is all.

Ever think about how many deer get killed along highways, no matter the season?

I thought that was illegal in most of Texas.

I was running a chainsaw in the backyard yesterday, went in for water (5 minutes), went back out to find deer in the yard.

I use my lawnmower to close the distance between me and the deers

I wasnt referring to any sort of hunting, I am talking about the deer getting killed by vehicles.

Sounds like you shouldn't hunt fence lines

Now y'all gone and done it....insinuating that the man is too close to his neighbor

I gather that the OP thinks they shouldn't be allowed to hunt

Lies, all lies!! Deer are scared of noise...they are NOT curious creatures at all, and will not stop running until they're at least 5 miles away if you so much as fart outside during deer season. Dang rookies don't know nuffin round here
