I have a small place 5 miles east of calvert that's a nice buck. I killed one that looks a lot like him I sent u a pm

Yep I know the feeling. I hunt by myself 90% of the time and it seems like I'm almost always by myself when I kill something. It doesn't bother me but it sure can be difficult on some tracking jobs and dragging and loading a heavy animal.

Very cool and congrats on the buck. One reason I have a cart to get them from point A to B. Getting them in the truck by yourself is a receipe for a back ache.

Get yourself one of those winch up things that go in the receiver of the truck. They are handy for sure.
