    ATV Storage Options

Just acquired a new ATV from another member on here, and I am already looking for things to get it hunt ready. Aside from installing lights and fixing the brakes, Im basically looking for some storage options that I can use to get some smaller gear items into the field without sacrificing the area on my front and rear racks. Never had this problem with the golf carts, but been a while since I have used an ATV for hunting. Mainly looking to carry things like wasp spray, scent killer spray, TP, etc, without losing the ability to haul corn or game on the racks. Thinking a couple ammo cans would work, just need some ideas on how to mount them. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

A good rear basket with the drop area is nice, and a gas tank saddle bag.

They make storage bags that hook on the racks and hang down the fenders that would be perfect for wasp spray and stuff like that.

If you want to go cheap, we've used a piece of 4" PVC pipe with screw on caps for holding TP, wasp killer, etc. Cut it the length of your rack and use hose clamps or similar to tie it on. Depending on how your racks are made you may be able to mount it on the underside of your rack and not take up any of the surface area on your rack.

Gas tank saddle bag. I think I got mine at Academy. Great for all kinds of stuff. It came in a a kit with a few other things.

I considered buying saddle bags for the reasons you mentioned. Instead, I bought one of these tool baskets in the link below and zip-tied it to my front rack. Very sturdy and the perfect size for smaller items. I have a larger after-market rack on the back for corn and such but if I ever need both racks the basket comes off easily.

I’ve seen the saddle bags that go over the gas tank.
