For the ones seeing the bigger deer, what kind of areas you hunting?
Field edges? Thick woods? Creek bottoms?

afraid my move may not work out. couldnt find a good tree exactly where I wanted to be; got set up about 40yds away on trails going between the other ones. of course, saw deer "over there". we will see if I can luck out in the AM. if not, I may be in a leafy suit on a stool for a last ditch effort in the evening.

I can tell you what hasn't worked for the last 2 days. Heavy woods in Harris Creek - fresh rub line with some big cedars torn up. I haven't left the tree for last 2 days and have seen one doe and one decent buck that was a shooter but no opportunity. Tons of hogs - big groups. The wind shifting each day is tough for a one stand set up and it is bow hunting!
