Never had any major suspension trouble out of Many Fords and year models. Older Nissan had the Death Wobble and it was REAR trailing arms (there are 4 total rear plus a couple up front that were not bad). Also called control arms. Cheap parts but hard to install. It was super dangerous like an overloaded trailer fishtailing out of control. I have considered something new or different and trust none of them anymore and on retirement funds gotta be careful.

2019 F250 death wobble question

My 2019 did it last week. Full blown, dash shaking, off the charts pucker factor death wobble.I was going 75 mph on Hwy. 82 west of Sherman. it's an F250, has 20k miles. I rotate my tires every 5k miles, wasn't a tire problem. Ford dealer said they would do a single stabilizer under warranty. They did offer to install dual stabilizers, but not under warranty, wanted 800 bucks. I had them install the single. I drove it to my lake house this weekend and it never acted like it might do it. I hope it's fixed. I got rid of my '08 Jeep because of death wobble, never could get it fixed right. I loved that Jeep.

I was just at Ford getting service done on an Explorer. I asked the Service writer about the death wobble issue in these trucks and he said that the front end wasn't heavy duty enough, ball joints, etc...should all be replaced.
I guess because i didn't own one he felt free to talk about it openly.

2019 F250 death wobble question
Happened to me for the first time about 3 weeks ago on 225 near the beltway, then again a week later on hwy 16 near Tilden. Both road were pretty rough, but still shouldn’t happen. Had to slow down to about 35 mph before it stopped. Mine is a 2019 with 21k miles on it. I rotate the tires every oil change.

About lost my dad because of this a few weeks ago. I have a 17 F250 and have had problems. My buddy has an 18 f250 and has had problems. Great trucks but they CLEARLY have an issue with them. Just google it and you will see hundreds of others with the same problem. Funny thing is they try to deny it.

I have a 2018 F250 Fx4, 4 door short bed diesel with 26k on it. Heading out of S-Ville towards Dublin last week with the cruise set on 75mph. Hit a very small bump and all hell broke out. I'm not sure who was more scared me or the guy who was about to pass me. It finally quit at about 30mph or so. Truck is all stock from the dealer and has been serviced as it should. Truck has an appointment at the Ford house tomorrow morning, since I just got back in town. From what I can gather from folks its has happened to it's probably a front stabilizer bar.

yep, had it happen to me twice with the stock Kevlar tires. put new tires on it and couldn't make it do it again on the same spots that caused it to happen before.
