    Rain coming...

Who hunts in the rain? Looking like the front is coming tomorrow morning in Anderson County...would like experiences on whether to sit in it or pass until it slows/stops!!

I have options (ground blind or tree)...

I like to still hunt when it's cold and drizzling. Light rain will have the deer moving . Flooding I stay home..

I won't shoot if it's raining; makes blood trailing near impossible.

Deer at our place do not move in the rain at all. You can watch them on camera come in right before the storm and after.

I don't think it is supposed to rain much. If I was able I would be sitting probably in the ground blind. I would worry about the wind more than rain. Supposed to be pretty brisk.

Shot this public land buck in 3 days of Biblical rain! I’m talking a flood. 20 minute boat ride was the worst part. Blow the lungs out and they ain’t going far anyway. Pick shot wisely

If just a quick shower. Probably not much movement. But if it sets in and rains. They got to eat something at some point

                Where they gonna go? Inside?

Back when I gun hunted mostly, I loved those cold rainy days for still hunting/spot n stalk... Play the wind and the rain will cover your scent and sound... With the bow, not so much... hard trackin' in the rain. You MUST make a good, quick killing shot and get on the trail almost immediately... Lots of bad outcomes possible with that set up... but I've done it before... I'm just not that "mad" at 'em these days I guess...

Yeah it’s looking like a wet morning....can’t see yet how long it’s suppose to last...may be a game time decision...and really only one way to find out....

Rain showing for Friday and early Saturday here in the valley. I plan on hunting Sunday morning there’s a hog been showing up every morning at the same time. Hopefully this cooler weather brings out more.
