    Vortex Viper Red Dot Issues

I am having issues getting my Vortex Viper red dot to zero when using my Glock 20. Shooting at 20 yards I'm about 4-5" low and I am out of adjustments for lowering the dot. I'm shooting with a rest and getting 1/3" groups so I feel confident it isn't shooter error on this one. Has anyone else had issues similar to this and if so how did you fix it?

Using Glock 20 with ERW plate mount.

Same issue with one on an AR. Tossed it back in the safe. In for answers, dang irritating.

I got a response from Vortex suggesting I buy a shim and try that. I'll report back after I try that.

Does the optic come with long enough set screws to mount or did you have to purchase longer ones??

Mine came with long enough screws and did not require new ones.

So I finally had a chance to shoot again after installing the angled shim recommended by Vortex. This solved my issue and brought the sight back up to where I can now use it. If your having issues I recommend getting an angled shim and it should solve your problems.
