Need Advice from Pond Guys

Finished digging our pond at ranch around end of May. Maintaining a constant level as it is fed by one of the wells. This weekend I noticed a red looking film on the water surface. Guessing it is a red algae bloom of some sort. Will it go away with cooler weather or should it be treated. If it needs treatment, what do I use?
