Fishing at Pedernals State Park?

I will be going camp at Pedernals State park in December and wanted to know where is a good place to fish.

What will I be catching? Catfish?

Fished there last summer with a cane pole and road runners. Clear water and could see the bass and perch. Caught enough to keep me entertained.

I have lots of saltwater fishing experience but very little in freshwater. I have caught some crappie and obviously sunfish but no bass or any other freshwater fish. I would love to catch some catfish and crappie. Are there any there?

Did not see any crappie. Could not catch the few catfish I saw.
