Who has gotten a flu vaccine

My little boy got it today. He’s 6 months old so he got a few others as well.

I've never had one and don't plan on it. I get why you are getting one. I've only had the flu once that I know of for sure, maybe twice in 40 years.

I Used to be the same way. I had the flu in 1996 then got the summer flu in 2016. I have never been so sick. Im talking bad real bad. I will get a flu shot in hopes of never being that sick again.

I definitely know how you feel.

Stopped touching other folks pens years ago. Wife and I have been flu free ever since. Carry alcohol in the car for when we have to use their stylus pen.......

My line of work requires me to get one. I mean I would do it anyways to help protect my little ones.

Hell no. It’s a farce with their best guess as to what strain will be most prevalent.

Doesnt the CDC screen and take panels all over the globe and already see most viruses manifest in the southern hemisphere and historical transmission routes...that seem to lead north to us? Hence how what strains are migrating our way and vaccines are concocted.

Im at Walgreens and old folk are lining up for shots.

I think Im gonna tow the family in for shots. It was bad at our house last year. Thats was alot of oozing orifices and crankyness.

I’ve only gotten the flu shot twice in my life and both years I have gotten the flu. I’m pretty sure I’m winning this battle without it.

Vaccines are great for viruses that don't mutate constantly (like influenza does). They aren't worth much of anything when the strain going around isn't what was in the vaccine you got, and they guess wrong a lot more often than they guess right when they mix up the vaccines. I don't get the shots. I've gotten sick after getting the shots in the past, and I've stayed well without the shots the last several years. I eat healthy and use common sense in not touching everything in Walmart and keeping my hands clean and such. Works better than a vaccine with the wrong stuff in it.

the only medicine never scientifically proven effective. or even safe are vaccines. i'll wait for the testing. so no.
