I know many of you are Lacy fans, and Bones and I have spent many hours and days on this project, so I hope you'll help us celebrate
I am so incredibly proud that this special breed is on its way to full recognition with the best performance dog registry in the world! Also, it will only cost $5 per dog for the first batch of registrations, so TBHers should contact us now to get the special rate, register@LacyBreed.com.
The National Lacy Dog Association is excited to announce that the Lacy has been accepted into the Canine Developmental Health and Performance Registry!
In addition to professional registration services, the CDHPR provides expert advice and sound breeding strategies to preserve and improve purebred dogs. This also represents the first step towards full recognition with the United Kennel Club, the most prominent performance dog registry in the United States.
As the parent breed club, the NLDA will facilitate CDHPR/UKC registration. All purebred dogs that meet standard and pass inspection will be included in the studbook. Once these dogs have a DNA profile on record, their litters will be eligible for registration with the CDHPR/UKC.
In addition to these benefits, Lacys are also eligible to participate in UKC events. The second largest and oldest American kennel club, the UKC is respected around the world for their premium hunting and sporting programs. Lacys can compete in Hunting, Treeing, Agility, Obedience, Dock Jumping, Dog Sport and Weight Pull. The NLDA is currently working with the UKC to create additional opportunities for the breed.
We encourage all Lacy owners to contact us for inclusion in this special program. You can email us at register@LacyBreed.com. We are already answering questions on our forum, http://www.nationallacydog.org/forum...php?f=10&t=417, and additional information on requirements for registration will be available on http://www.LacyBreed.com.
