Are y'all talking about the camo "Snake Guard" Magellan boots? I have a pair of those and I love them. Probably put 5+ walking miles through them so far.

I got a pair of Chips from a factory seconds store for $149 brand new. The only thing that was defective was that one of the labels in the side of the boot was sewn on upside down. Very comfortable boots. They have a zipper down the back with a Velcro flap that covers that, which makes it a breeze to slip them on and off.

I feel like Danners are underrated but it keeps the price lower and I take advantage of that.

I have two pairs

A pair of the green top Justin round toes and they’re very comfortable and have held up very well, had them for about 8 years

Also have a pair of all leather zip up Chips, they need a lot of breaking in as they’re awful to try and get off, but they’re pretty comfortable when they’re on, but they are way too hot!

I wore out 2 pair of chips and just bought a pair of Irish Setter Women's Vaprtrek. Not a huge fan of the lace up....but they are WAY more comfortable than either of my Chips were.....and waterproof.

I had Lacrosse they fell apart the souls had lugs that broke off in chunks.

Went with the Irish setters and never looked back. Very comfortable and no tightness or binding in the ankle like other lace up boots I tried.
