Like the title says what have you passed that others may have shot? And why? I passed this deer. If his g4 on the right would be close to his left I probably would take him. He is plenty mature and a very nice buck for our area. He has been here all morning

Had this guy at 20 yards this morning. I was sitting there evaluating him when a hit list 8 pointer came out and pushed him off.

Had a doe, big fawn and a basket 8 all work their way by this morning together

Considered shooting the doe but when she got closer I could see she was pretty drawn down from raising that fawn so I let her go on by

Have more legal bucks then I have in 15 years. Fed year around for the first time ever and not a single photo of a buck over 4 years old. Im still hopeful as Im missing about 4 good mature deer that got a pass last year and didn't show up until mid October. I told myself Im not going to scent it up until I get a pic of something I like but i'm picky. First opening morning I havent been in a stand since I started doing it.

I couldn't agree more. I think deer season should start in late October and end later. That being said, this morning was one of the best hunts I've had in awhile but we are slipping in to a severe drought and our deer are pretty hungry.

Passed on a bunch of does and couple 8pt barely legal bucks. I quit using cameras a few years ago and with the doe days I wanted to see what comes in. Had a couple mature deer, as good or better than anything I’ve seen on our place. Got busted by doe picking up bow and they all spooked. All came back but the mature bucks.
