Fell in love with the what I heard about this new caliber. Had to try it. Ordered in an upper and got to try it out on Friday. Was everything it was sold to be. Was wondering if anyone else has tried it? I was getting about an inch group at 100 yards with the 150 grain deer round.

It's going to be popular for the Iowa firearms seasons (shotgun and certain straight wall cartridges only). The .450 Bushmaster is by far the favorite, but a lot guys up here are looking at the .350 Legend.

I'm all for using the AR platform for any type of hunting whenever possible, but looking at the ballistics I really don't see what the 350 Legend does that the 450 Bushmaster doesn't already do.Comment

Winchester sort of dropped the ball on this round. They used a 9 mm diameter bullet instead of a true 35 caliber. That being said, I just got through building an AR myself. So far it seems to be working great. When I get the rifle sorted out, it will most likely get the thermal attached, and see how it works on pigs.Comment
