    Rangefinder

Asking the brain trust of bow hunters, what range finder due you like or use for bow hunting?

    #2
    Sig Kilo 1250.

I used a Nikon for a long time - until I couldn't range a very nice buck at first light because I couldn't see him. I could see him with binoculars, but not the range finder.

That led me to a quest for one that was good in low light (and wasn't super expensive). I read countless (literally) reviews. And all most all of them talked about how great the range finder was, unless you used in in low light conditions.

The Sig was the only one I could find (for around $200) that is good in low light. Very happy with it. If it is legal shooting light, I can range now.

This is the only Sig product I own - but certainly not opposed to more!

Sig kilo 1600. It’s on the cheaper side for sig that has illuminated display. It’s great. Definitely want the illuminated display.

I have a Sig Kilo2400bdx but I only went with the higher end model because it pairs with my Kestrel for shooting. Cant go wrong with the Sig line.

I have the Bushnell Tour V4. Whether I’m on the golf course or the blind that thing is dead on!

Can’t say I’m disappointed by any means in it.

I had the Leupold TBR rx750 and loved it, but the only downside to that RF was that it would not compensate for angle after 60 yards and then you had to read the range from a smaller font display in the corner which made it difficult.

I switched to the Sig Kilo 1250 mainly for its price point and quality, only regret is not spending a little more to get the red illuminated display.
