    Proper Forum?

I have noticed a lot of threads started on "Around the Campfire" that really should be posted on the forum created for the subject of that thread. It seems like there are a lot of threads started that would be fitting for the "Game Management" forum (Discuss aging, scoring, management ideas and all things related to improving hunting conditions), "Equipment & Tuning" forum (Discuss archery equipment and mechanics), "Other Side of the Ranch / Firearms" forum (Discussion forum for all things firearms. ARs, handguns, rifles and hunting with firearms), or the "DIY" forum. Is it because some folks don't realize that there are specific forums for different topics, that they think they will get more activity/responses by putting it here, or is it just an accident? It really doesn't bother me, I'm just curious why so many of the other forums are largely ignored compared to "Around the Campfire".

All/most of the activity is in this section. That’s why it all gets posted here.

For Sale - brand new French horn kazoo, Never used. I bought several extra and passing on the savings to others who may need one. Beautiful antique bronze patina finish with robust sounds. You'll be the hit of every get together, party, or tail gate . No trades, just looking to sell - Priced at $9.99 as I paid $10.00

        .

        .
        .
        .
        OOPs, sorry, wrong forum

to answer your question, I think there are several reasons which you referenced: some people don't take the time to check out the other forums, some just want more views and feedback so they post ATC, or they mistakenly create a topic in the wrong forum that they were last logged into.

You are priced way too cheap! Everyone knows that if you paid $10 for it, that you should ask $11 on TBH classifieds, Even though Academy has them for $8 in their kazoo section.

A lurker buddy asked the same thing back in the spring. He never signed on as a member. He also could not believe all the bickering. [emoji849]Admins used to move stuff to proper locales pretty often. Not sure if they have the bandwidth anymore or dont notice all the jumbled up topics.

Yes, an old friend came and stayed with me over the weekend and he was surfing thru TBH. He could not believe how much bantering there was. He works in Sharonville Ohio at a Ford manufacturing facility and read the one thread about GM and the unions. . He asked me if a lot of people just ramble on about stuff on here that they know nothing about, I said yeah ever couple minutes or so

Since he’s from Ohio, the good news is he was just visiting.

Yep, he is from Kentucky and a real good guy. I swapped him a fishing trip to the Land cut and a hog hunt for a Whitetail hunt in Kentucky.

Why change things when it's worked for 20 years?
