    Non-profit Hunting Organization

    Guys and gals,

I am looking for a Non-profit Outdoors Organization that sends less fortunate on hunting and fishing trips. Whether it is combat veterans/wounded warriors, sick children/adults, disabled children/adults, and/or less fortunate children/adults, it does not make a difference to me. I have been blessed with many opportunities in life and want to share them with others that haven't been afforded the same. I have more goose and crane decoys than I care to admit and plenty of places to hunt throughout the panhandle/west Texas.

I'd like to team up with an organization to take some folks on some crane/goose/duck hunts and when it comes back around next September, a gator hunt. Ideally, a Texas based organization for logistical reasons or even better, if someone on here has an organization that would like to send some people hunting.

Please feel free to post any ideas here or if you would like, just shoot me a PM.

Hmmm, I don’t have any folks currently lined up but could quickly change that I’m sure. Myself and TBHr The Cajun founded a non profit, Deployed Family Outdoors, because we too feel extra blessed and fortunate with our outdoor opportunities. We take the children’s of active military on hunting/fishing adventure trips.

Edit- I’ll be on the road tomorrow afternoon, perhaps a phone call? 512-five five four-4299

Lonestar Warrior Outdoors is a good organization. They take combat injured vets on various types of hunts. Earlier this month they did a gator hunt at Wallisville, I was fortunate enough to help out on one of the boats. Chris Gill runs the organization and is a vet himself.

Have you checked out Hell or High water outdoors? They are a true non profit that provides hunting and fishing experiences to people with disabilities and terminal illness.

Wish we had more of this on the GS! As time goes on just seems less and less to provide recreation for Vets and current military. Great gesture and thanks!
