Good luck. My experiences trying to get a one way rental car at the Austin airport are not positive, I'd start trying now.
My travel agent got me a mid sized truck.[emoji6] Just landed in L.A., flight to Austin in 4 hours. Prayers for all watching the rising water by the minute. [emoji302][emoji120][emoji302]
there are dumb a** es running down my moms road playing cajun navy throwing wakes.. Her house hasn't flooded but its close.. No ones gonna drown in 18 inches of water . People need to respect private property ..

Thought we might have the first ever tbh person Express [emoji16]
Hamshire got over 43 inches in less than 20 hours. I’m 5 miles from there, and I saw it firsthand. We’re very fortunate that when we built our house a few years ago we decided to build up the highest point of our property an extra 16 inches with the dirt from our pond instead of filling in low spots in the back. This is the second time that flood water has risen in the back of our property and not been able to quite make it up the slope into our house. Almost all of our neighbors are flooded again.
Since I’ve been up we have done numerous high water rescues, medical calls, and now have a house fire. First on scene to the fire got everyone out and fire has taken over.
