Dragging this up again...decided to try some of the cheap lighted nocks that are $12 for a 6 pack off of amazon. Light up great, seemed to fit the string good, but something changed. Not sure if they are too soft or what. I’ve been shooting broadheads off and on since about June and everything has been dialed great out to 50 yards. Put on those nocks today, and my POI changed 8 inches or more even at 20 yards in random directions. Guess I’ll just go back to hoping I can find the arrow once it skips off Hill Country rocks...
I could shoot consistently with FPs and mechanical broadheads but screw on a fixed blade and same experience as you describe, I gave up on lighted nocks
I think the issue was the string grip/slot on the lighted ones was tighter and I have no time to work that down with sandpaper or file or whatever to make them work like the others
Started having issues with nockturnals, bad enough with a fixed blade I’d miss a block at 20 yards. Tried a lumenok since they use factory nocks and back to dialed in
my experience was all junk,,,, had all the same problems with them plus haveing had three different brands break and one cost me a new string,,, bright feathers and bright wraps never had another issue along with costing me less per arrow
I can't believe that no one else on here has tried the NuFletch Ignitor. They are easier to use than the Nockturnals and when the battery goes dead after 3 days of being on, you can replace them for a third of the cost.
