    Finally getting dialed back in

I have not been able to painlessly and comfortably draw and shoot my bow in some time. Some of y’all may remember last season opening week I made a bad shot on my target buck. I was sick over it and looked for 3 days. Tried the next morning to get a dog out and was unable to get someone in time to feel they could make a good track. Needless to say I never found him and it really put me in a funk. Plus I was having some serious back issues and felt I need to make a change.

So I ended the season with totally changing my setup. I switched to a Triax with a single pin sight but due to back issues really just bought it and put it in the case. In April I finally got my back fixed and the dr cleared me to start shooting again last week. I also switched to a thumb release from a wrist release.

Finally getting good groups. This is a 33 yard group this morning. I’m loving this new setup with the thumb release.

what thumb release did you go with? ive always shot a wrist caliper release, but toying with the idea of trying a thumb release..

I switched to the Chocolate Addiction 4 finger. It just feels better all the way around. I don’t see myself switching back.

Looking good... switching to a handheld, either thumb or hinge. Was the best thing I ever did, way better than the wrist rockets
