Any CJ5 shadetree mechanics?

I started dumping fuel out the bottom of this reservoir. The fuel line and carburetor line run thru it. I got it removed but i don’t know what it is called to order a new one. It’s a 79 CJ5. Any help?

How do i bypass it? The green line goes in from the fuel tank. Another hose goes to the carb bowl and the last line says vacuum and goes to the engine.

Can the fuel line be extended straight to the carb bowl?
Any idea why it was dumping fuel out the bottom of the canister?

Google the “Nutter Bypass”. This will get rid of all the unnecessary vacuum lines, fuel canister etc which will save you tons of headaches
