Thats pretty crappy. I had my 06 f150 locks broken out twice and all they ever got was a 15 phone charger and about 2 bucks in change. It was 500 the first time and 700 the second time to get fixed. I just stopped locking my doors, but a thief is pretty stupid so if you do that maybe you should put a sticky note on the window that says not locked.

Air card that I finally remember is what I stuck in the bag to make sure it didnt get lost FREE. Finally got you use my upgrade discounts at sprint.

To make all this worse.. I get a phone call from someone at CONNS last night. Which is who I bought my laptop from and who was servicing it. Well I had stuck the receipts from making my payment and the one saying they had it in service in one of the pockets. So anyways I get a call from someone at conns stating that someone had called them and had found my bag. It had all the cords in it but not the laptop. Wanted to knwo if she could give him my number to call me. Well it was voicemail so she said she would take is info and i could call back and get it off my account. So I call back talk with the lady and told her I was going to pick her brain. That it wasnt lost but stolen out of my truck and did the guy happen so say where he found it. OH YES HE SAID IF YOU CALL HIM HE CAN TELL YOU EXACTLY WHERE HE FOUND IT. HMMMMM sounded funny to me... So I thanked her and hung up. Started thinking what is my luck worth that someone would actually find it somewhere and return it. Oh he must want an reward I will gladly pay him. But still just didnt sit right with me.. So I got patched through to the officer who responded the night before. Filled him out and he didnt like it either.. Called one of the detectives then called me back and told me that the phone number they called no one lived there by that name. So as I had expected they asss that broke into my truck was dumb enough to try to call and get more of my information to try to see where I lived to either come get the rest of what he could carry out of my truck. NOT THAT ITS STILL IN THERE> but since the locks were already busted it would be easier on him...

Like I said im not that lucky to actually have any of my stuff returned. I been broken into many many many times and lost thousands of dollars of items since I started driving. This is the one Truck that I havent put an alarm on yet but it never seemed to work before anyways..

So I was trying to keep from filing insurance. Well once I started pricing all this I was like now way im paying the 250 deductable.. Well that only covers the damage on the out side. 1000 deductable on home insureance will cover the items stolen. OH but wait it didnt happen in front of my home darn..

So luckly I found the handles on ebay for 10 bucks a peice and a buddy is gonna put them on for 15 a peice.. I stil have to get a new key cylinder which is 105 cheapest I have found so far.

Truck is still gonna have a gapping pry hole on the passenger side cause im not paying 250 for them to have to paint the whole door.

It would have been so much easier if they would have just stolen the whole **** thing... Then I could actually get use out of that GAP insurance I paid so much for..

I am just impressed that you got to speak with one of the detectives... I hope the dude over doses on the crack he purchased from sell your stuff. I would also suggest the security guard had something to do with it. good luck getting your stuff back.

Actually it wasnt the detective. It was the officer who responded to the call the night before.. I just called the station and asked if they could have him call me if he was on duty... He called with in about 10 mins. Rather easy actually. He is one of the nicest, concerned and helpfull officer I have encountered in Arlington in a long while. He must have apoligized 10 times for me having to wait 1.5 hours for him to get there. I said hell that was nothing. I had to wait 12 hours for them to show up once lol.
