Going head on into direct conflict with the forces that would be brought against you would be outright suicide! There are other ways to get around, go between, and sidestep government! They can come looking at my place, they won't find anything that falls under the ban or is considered illegal will be found! But they will find what they consider to be within the law. Everyone that drives knows the speed limit and when/where they can pretty much get by it. How many people go to extremes every year to keep every penny of what the IRS steals? Know the laws, then know how to get around them!

There is a line but I don't know where it's drawn for me yet. I hope I never have to find out.
I know it seems bleak but I don't think its a fete accompli.
We need to apply as much political pressure as we possibly can.
Just voting for the president every four years is not doing your duty.
(especially if he ends up being squishy on the second amendment!)
Article V convention of states has a real hope of beginning to correct the country's course.

It’s not fighting or dying for guns. It’s fighting for your rights and the basic principles this country was founded on. The vocal minority has been chipping away at rights for so many decades we are becoming immune to it and is slowly moving this country farther and farther left until we are socialists. It’s fighting for your children’s and grandchildren’s future and their to enjoy the same rights we, out parents and grandparents have enjoyed. Do I think it will come to this? Hopefully not in my life time. But it won’t happen overnight, it will have to be 1 small piece of freedom at a time. Otherwise there will be fighting in the streets.

I seriously doubt our guns can save our rights. The impunity in which they over tax, the blatantly corrupt officials and the manipulation of the media has already completely undermined any chance the people had at having any real say in our country anymore. It's big money interests controlling things now.

At the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Ben Franklin is reported to have said, “We Must All Hang Together, or Most Assuredly, We Will All Hang Separately”.
Whether he or someone else uttered it, I am sure that all of the signers felt that way.
I kind of feel the same way about this issue. One man standing alone is an easy target. He may believe in the saying, from my cold dead hands, but that is exactly what will happen. The guy might go down in many people’s minds as a freedom fighter but like Franklin’s beliefs he will go down we will all hang/go down separately.
If there is any real resistance to confiscation or any even lesser gun restrictions, it had better be a well organized group effort. Otherwise many people will hang alone.....

We were talking about this the other day. Who’s going to do the confiscating? Every Marine and LEO I know will not be raiding their neighbors house for their guns. If it’s a foreign agency, it would be civil war. The dems are going to fight the psychological and political battle to try and weaken the American citizen.
To answer your question though, if it comes to confiscation, pry em.

I'm a LEO. I can guarantee that me and most of my brothers that I work with will never participate in seizure. And as a gun owner, and future retiree....I will never give in to seizure. I've served my country in the Marine Corps and my community in the Sheriff's Office. I will not submit to or participate in unconstitutional search and seizure.

A civil war is a war amongst citizens of the same country...so if it’s a foreign agency...how would it be a civil war ?

So we have been having this debate recently but with a slightly different wrinkle.
Would you trade that right for something. Something the left feels strong about. Let’s say abortion. Would you be okay with high capacity magazine bans background checks waiting periods etc. the whole nine short of confiscation.
My argument is I have plenty of guns and nothing to hide. I don’t mind waiting for my newest. Personally to save innocent children I may lean further.
I brought this point up because a liberal friend of mine was taking the stance of gun control because he values human life far more than the 2nd amendment while being pro choice.
