    Garage door help

Anybody know a fix for a garage door? The button on the wall is working intermittently. It has good power and lights up but rarely opens or closes the door. The sensors are clear and unobstructed. The keypad on exterior as well as remotes work just fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like the button from what you described, pretty easy to replace.

Do the lights flash on the opener when you try to use the button?

either the button or the wire to the button is bad.

When you disconnect the garage door from the track, does it open and close easily?

Sounds like the button or bad connection behind the button. Pull it off the wall and take the wires off, then touch em together...if she opens, time for a new button. Check the contacts in the button in case there's something to fix there maybe. Sounds like the door is working ok since the other buttons work.

You guys rock. Touched wires together and it works. Guess I'll get a button. I'm pretty handy but try like heck to not need with electrical. Lol. Thanks fellas
