Anyone a member of Tejas Archery club? Im in the same boat as OP. No place to shoot. Would shoot in backyard, but a little nervous about something happening and one getting away in the neighborhood. Just wondering about Tejas. Any info?

My oldest son and I have gone to Tejas for sevaral ASA and Field Shoots. They have a great setup there. I would go to their Facebook page and find their contact info. Great people run it and I’m sure they can help you out.

It's been a couple of years since I was there, but at the time I signed up for Tejas membership at Clyde's and they got me the key code to the gate. The Tejas facilities are great, plenty of room to stretch it out on the known distance range and the option to walk through the field course was nice to have as well. Only downside is it gets hot pretty quick but you can certainly work around that in the early morning / late evening hours.

Tejas is definitely a good place to to shoot and get some exercise in walking their target trails. My son got his membership this year, but unfortunately like me in the oilfield time doesn't allow for alot of time to shoot. And I only live five minutes from the place. Wish I was home, got some property between Blunzer and Banquete you could have stretched it out as far as you wanted.

Looks like Tejas is hosting a 3D shoot next weekend, might be a good opportunity to introduce yourself and perhaps get to use the range. Worth a shot anyway!
