A couple years ago I hit on in the same place with a slicktrick and didn't find it. Similarly, I saw him on his feet 10 mins after the shot. There was blood to follow but it petered out after 200+ yds.

I dont think its perfect but I dont think its possible to hit there and not get artery, 1 lung and or liver. I cant see one surviving that but ya never know. Good luck OP. Hope you find him! Great looking deer!
