KR Bluestem Kill in Carpet Grass

I have KR growing in my St Augustine around my house and want to kill it. I have been reading online and it seems nothing really does the job except gly. Is there another chemical I can spray my yard with that won’t damage the carpet grass but kill the KR. I have also read that a healthy fertilized yard will choke it out over time but not sure how long that will take.

Spot spraying with gly is the only thing what really works.

Try to find a small rope wick and you can just wipe the taller grass without hurting the
lawn grass. They make a hand held one that would work for that application

Yep, and you can't hardly round up the stuff to make one for that either.

I have one that looks like a hockey stick. It works well if you let the unwanted crap get tall enough that you don’t get your lawn grass.
