What in the wild world of sports is going on .............you recognize that species? Momma and 4 babies on top.....after we removed them pulled needles back and found 5 more babies........what a stand relocation it was
Pics are blurry, but those are Pygmy rattlers. They are small, and ornery, but don’t pose much threat due to their size. We have lots of them, I just relocate them, and keep going.
My second pet snake. Took mom three weeks to notice it had a rattle on his tail. My nailing the cage door shut was a dead give-a-way, I was ten.
Only place I've ever caught them is along White Oak Bayou hear in NW Houston. Our cats were always leaving them dead on the front porch. Today they're protected.
