Tough if you sit in a box on a lane that’s been there for 30 years. Few good deer on our 1600 acre place every year. You have to work to kill them. Deer in my avatar is from Woodville.same one I am posting below. Should have killed him but didn’t work out on timing. Saw him opening morning along with some other good deer that I passed on. Couldn’t get him in range. Pigs for days but the acorns make it extremely tough. Deer numbers are way up from a few years ago. Deer move the bottoms a lot, challenging but thrilling!

All I do is bow hunt. Typically set up a feeder and hunt trails around it early and late season. Once acorns drop I’ll find a good producing area.
I was more curious in deer numbers and size. If they are there I can find them lol

There’s a few good deer that are mature enough to shoot, but not a ton of them. Good amount of does. A lot of young bucks because people shoot the 15” wide 3.5 year olds.

How Far East? That’s where we are, another member has a lease maybe 1-2 properties away but can’t remember his name.

I hunted down the road in Zavalla for several years. I can be challenging but rewarding!

its never been bad to me in archery season, i feel like a majority of people dont start until rifle season opens and arent after trophys just meat.
