I've always considered my dad the best mentor I could have and my best friend. I know he'll shoot me strait and his love is unconditional without judgement. We still talk multiple times a week about work, marriage, faith, raising my own kids, leadership and personal growth, etc... I guess I've been lucky to have a mentor built-in my whole life. Wanted to follow up on this. I had a gentleman reach out to me a few days after posting. I called him a few weeks later and we briefly spoke. I've been busy and out of town quite a bit in September. Hoping to meet with him soon.
