    Broad head for wife???

Looking for suggestion and opinions for broad head selection for my wife. She is shooting a jewel set at around 48 pounds. Her arrow is an Easton axis at 420 grains going 232 FPS with 18% foc. As of now, I was considering 100 grain iron wills which I have for her. I know she won’t have an issue with penetration shooting those or a heavy arrow.

Any insight or experience with heads in lower poundage bows? Just thinking of some other options since we are going on a hunt in Ohio and targeting some big bodies deer. I appreciate the advice.

My son is drawing around 42 lbs and I have him shooting 2 blade magnus stingers.. They are well built and a third of the price .. but if you already have the iron wills they should work fine...

man, the annihilator seems good and the Ramcat standards are always a good choice for low poundage.

My wife shot G5 montec with a similar setup and will continue to use them.

My wife and daughter both shoot Rage Hypodermics and have killed several deer with 45 and 50 pound bows.

That’s what my wife has used. Zero issues. Good shot placement. Short tracks.

Generally speaking, Any broadhead will work for a wife. They are normally thin skinned and the bone structure is deceptively small for their size. Nevermind, I just looked at the title and not the content.

Muzzy Trocar 3 blade. Dont have to worry about deployment issues. Sorry had to say it. I actually use the Easton Axis in 340 with 55 lb draw. Shoots em dead.

My wife has been killing hogs with 100g Montecs for years. Shoot, sharpen, repeat!

I killed quite a few animals shooting the hypodermic at 49# when my shoulder was messed up with no problems

Fixed blade all of the way.

Aren't those Iron Wills expensive? I use the Ramcat with the 1 3/8" blades. I've recovered everything I've shot with them.
