    Risers on your bow

Would like to get some input from yall on a situation I just came across.
Was reviewing some info on a Martin Saber bow where the riser broke just
below the handle while someone was using it. He claimed it had not been dry fired.
Have any of yall heard of this happening with other bows, as in different makers?

It HAPPENS, but very very seldom. That would be the 3 bow that I have heard of doing it in 18yrs of shooting.

      So Much For That

Well, I guess since I'm not a regular, nobody is going to answer this.
      Thanks Rattler for your input.

I have read that a few times on the Saber......If I remember correctly the reasoning is that the riser on the Saber is cast versus machined....

It's got nothing to do with you not being a regular. As Rattler said, it's not a common problem.

Now, if you ask a question about high fence hunting, you're sure to get plenty of responses!
