Has anyone had kids take hunter ED online?

I read where if you are 17 or older you can take hunters ED online. If so what website did you use? I looked at a few and the prices range from 9.95 - 24.95. I am not in the mood to play games with these 2nd party companies. Can anyone recommend one that is set up good and has no frills?

Go to tpwd, go to education and follow the steps. I’m not required to take the class, but took it on line for a hunting trip in Missouri. For almost five years, I’ve had the opportunity to take the class for free, but had to pay for the card due to a last minute trip!

Thanks, I did that. They supplied I think 6 different 3rd party sites where you can take the course. I was just wondering if one was recommended. One said they charge 24.95 and one said they charge 9.95.

I’m betting all the online ones are going to be similar. And if the state links them they’re likely not to have bad results.

No in person classes could have some difference.

Wife did hers here a few months ago. I was tired of sitting in the stand with her every year and watching her kill. I wanted to get back in on the action! Legit site. Will give you a 60 day temp cert until the official one is ready to be downloaded and printed.

Go through the tpwd website. My 9 year old daughter di the online portion the last couple weeks and just did her field course today for $15. With hunting season around the corner, field days are available just about every week.

Per the website and the one my wife did, no field day required for hunters Ed if OVER 17. She didn’t have to do a field day and has her certificate

Unless something has changed this year you have to have a field day. I usually teach ethics, gun safety and blood tracking.

I took mine online a few years ago through of TPWD's affiliates. Forget the cost, but I think it was around $15. Didn't take long and I was able to print out proof until the card came in.
