HHA Sight... Which One? Why?

OK guys I am going to try a single pin sight and have decided to go with HHA from what I have heard about them, however I know nothing about them... So those of you that shoot their sight's, which one would you get and why??? Not concerned as much about discussing price as I am more interested to hear which one you would buy or have bought (if money weren't a deciding factor) and why would or did you choose that particular sight... I hunt with the OL5019 Bud. I like the Rheostat so I would recommend that you get the OL5500 or OL5519 model depending on the pin size you like. Outside in the sun the pin can get a little bright, the rheostat will keep that from happening. I like the slider better than the wheel, I can adjust the slider quicker than the wheel. I shoot the 1 5/8" housing becasue the 2" is just a little big for me.

The 5000 has a .29 pin and the 5019 has the smaller .19. I prefer the smaller pin and I really like the adjustability or the 5019. It also has the micro windage adjustments and rheostat housing.

I shoot the 5519 and love the rheostat. The fact that I can adjust the hood to dim the pin was a seller for me. That pin can get super bright and the halo effect makes it difficult to shoot.

Candidly I love it and shoot it very well but I'm looking at the new G-5 site. It has a single fixed pin and a moveable as a second pin.

Guys, Thanks for the input. Jay, you explained a lot of the questions that I had about the different model's available.... What about the lite model?? I am assuming it is a lighter weight sight???

The good thing to me about the HHA sites is the single pin is in middle of the apperture(sp), thus if I can put the circle of the peep around the outside of the aperture on the site when I am at full draw, the pin is in the middle of the peep....Then just put the pin on what you are shooting at, and you are good to go.

That make sense to anybody?

P.S. An old blind man like me needs the .029 pin.

I use the 5500 Optimizer Lite. I have the .029 pin. I use .019 for 3D but prefer the .029 for hunting purposes. I have also added the HHA Starburst sight light.

i use the xl5519...2" aperature...awesome site!...i also just got a 2x lens in for it...cant wait to try it out...

I use the ol 5000 .29 great for hunting and love it. I have been using hha sights for over 10 years.
