We have both, I would have to say I don’t notice much difference, in mpg , or towing
My wife doesn’t like riding in the ford ( she has spinal stanosis ) and complains about how rough it makes her back feel and that it’s harder to get into
I like the Chevy because the transmission is easy to change the filter and the fuel filter is easy to find and change, the ford has two , one under the truck and one under the hood
The ford issue seems to feel less in control on rough corrugated roads and also had a problem with the 4x4 auto lock hubs ( but can be manually locked in “ which makes me feel at ease “ ) Chevy is electronic 4x4
All in all both are solid trucks and it would be just looks and styling, and dealership services
My f350 had the death wobble so that issue popping up is always on my mind

I’ve always been a Ford SuperDuty guy. I’ve been in and drove them all. The Ford just “seems” like it has so much more space in the cab, both front and back. In reality, maybe it does or doesn’t, but it sure feels and looks like it does. Also, I’d truly be lost without the keypad on the door. I just bought a new 19 F350. I’m pulling around ~25,000 pound +/- and I get 10-11 mpg when doing so. Empty on the interstate, I can get 17-18.

I got out of a 2015 Denali 2500 for a few reasons, one being I could barely fit a car seat in the back. I switched to an F-150 cc and there’s got to be 8-10” more leg room. It has always seemed that the fords had much more cab room over Chevy.
