Well I hoped the bad talk about Spypoint customer service would not apply to me but when i called today...no such luck. My camera takes pictures and sends them to my phone perfectly but they are so blurry its almost pointless to have it up. I have the Link-S mounted in West Texas sun and it is eating my batteries alive still, I transmit once a day. It also shows my SD card to have 0 pictures. So i called and after 15 minutes finally got to talk to a real person, i explained it all and she went on asking questions about did i charge it full, did i format the card, is it a type 10 sd card and so on and finally she asked me to update the camera, and I told her it was 6 hours away and not in front of me and she replied.....wait for it...."So what do you want me to do? There is no magic button we have that can just fix it if you don't have the camera." The conversation was over at that point. At no point did I have an attitude or raise my voice, it was regular yes mam no mam answers. 4 hours later i still get hot thinking about it. That camera will be going back to cabelas as soon as i get it back to town if they will take it.

I found a good deal on one and set it up on my feeder in the backyard to test it out before I take it to the deer lease 5 hours away. Had some minor issues that I had to call about and the response I got from the (hard to understand) lady was “turn it off and on again” not to hard now but really can’t do that once I take it to the deer lease

I doubt they make it much longer on the market

Yeah there have been multiple rounds of them bricking cell cams etc, which is my I *smh* every time they go on sale and people rush out to buy them. Covert isn't perfect, but I've only had to use CS twice, and both times it was a good experience. I've never heard anything bad about Reconyx either.

Well since talking to CS the first time I have not received a picture again. I guess she locked up my account. I called again and spoke to a dude who sounded French and he was nice but could not help me either. He also told me that if I take it back that they will refund my annual service plan, so hopefully it all works out. Think I will be going back to my Amazon Chinese cameras. May buy some coverts after season

I got caught up in the Spypoint Micro-Link sale recently and it takes great pics out in front of my house. I also bought an external antenna (non-Spypoint) to hoist up in a tree for better reception and I’m waiting for a certain fitting for it.
I tried calling their CS to ask a question and I think I knew more already that that clown did - not sure of his nationality but Scandinavian was my first impression.
The overall instructions for the Micro-Link are rather poor.

We are very sorry about the issue. We will send you a return label and when we receive the camera from you, we will check it out. If we see the same issue you described, we will fix it or send you a new one. If the issue you described is normal, we will offer you a full refund.
Or
We will send you a brand new camera that we tested and works perfect. We will include a return label so you can send the bad one back.
The problem with a lot of customer service these days is the person you talk to knows less about the product then the customer.
This is why to this day, I still talk to our customers because I know more about our products then anyone. I design and use all of our products and 99% of the time, I can diagnose the problem over the phone and just send the part for free to fix the problem. Soon though, We will have someone else helping out but that person(Jason Brooks) has been in training for years and while he doesn't know as much as I do, he knows more then anyone but me and if he can't help, he can transfer them to me. Jason Brooks has already been helping our customers for years on our Facebook page.

When are y'all going to start selling cell trail cameras?[emoji12]

We probably will never sell trail camera's because I don't want all the headaches they bring with them. Pretty much every trail camera out has at least some problems and a lot of them have a lot of problems. In about 2-4 months, we will be coming out with our first product that doesn't have anything to do with lights. It mounts to existing 12V motor boxes and shocks any animal that attempts to get to the spinner plate. It runs off your existing feeder battery and uses so little power that if you have a solar panel already for your feeder battery, you will have no issues as long as your solar panel is working correctly. In fact, you can run it without the solar panel and it will only take about 1-2 weeks off your normal run time. It is very easy to mount to existing 12V motor boxes.
